Happy 540 Birthday to Doctor (I say so!) Copernicus! Loved the awesome animation of the solar system posted by Google today. See more about Copernicus: http://www.csmonitor.com/Innovation/2013/0219/How-Nicolaus-Copernicus-rewrote-the-rules-of-the-solar-system. However, above article by Christian Science Monitor categorizes it indirectly as innovation. I would use "discovery" to label Copernicus's theory. This was not an invention. What do you think?
